A spirit of adventure
What will Kona Mike's provide?
Rash guard
Booties

How do I get to and from my surf lesson?
Kona Mike's does not provide any transportation, other than your surfboard.
You will need to transport yourself to the surf shack and then from the surf
shack to the beach. Directions to the surf spot will be provided at the briefing.
What time do I need to be at the surf shack?
Prior to the start of the lesson we will conduct a mandatory safety briefing
that will last approximately 45 minutes.
For 9am lessons, please be at the surf shack no later than 8:15am.
For noon lessons, please be at the surf shack no later than 11:15am.
How long does the lesson last?
We will spend up to two hours in the water, conditions allowing.
What if I get tired during the lesson?
You will be given an option to hang at the safety buoy and rest until you're
ready to charge it again, or conclude your lesson, in which case an instructor
will escort you back to the beach.
What if the waves are too big?
Kona Mike's has several surf spots for lessons. The best spot will be chosen
based on that day's ocean conditions. If waves are epic (too big and not safe
even for Kona Mike) classes will be rescheduled.
Will we see sharks?
Not if they see you first!
