Safety Credentials
In Hawaii's volatile ocean environment it's
important to always be mindful of and prepared to deal with
potentially dangerous situations. That's why all of Kona Mike's
surf instructors are trained in CPR, First Aid and professional
rescue as well as lifeguard certified. We pride ourselves
on our safety record. You and your family will be well taken
care of.
Our team trains daily in ever changing ocean
conditions. If we are not teaching surfing we are surfing
ourselves or participating in some kind of ocean adventure.
Kona Mike has personally hand picked the finest
surf instructors in the Kona area. "I'm confident that you
will have a safe, memorable and truly Hawaiian adventure with
our team."
A 30 minute safety briefing/talk story will
be conducted in our surf shack before each lesson. You will
launch your surf adventure with up to date information about
the latest ocean conditions as well as answers to any safety
concerns. Our mission is to ensure a radical surf adventure!
